I couldn't be more happy with Indian Summer Outfitters. Me, my dad, and uncle chose to do a non-guided elk hunt in western MT. Doug with Indian Summers packed us, our gear, and our own food into their camp. It was an incredible setup. We were more than comfortable for the entire week and were very impressed. Right from the start it was clear that our guides were VERY knowledgeable and have done their homework on the area we were in. Our guide Doug showed us the best ways to enter each area/went over a detailed map with plans before leaving us for the week. Every morning and evening we had bugling bulls all around us and there was fresh sign of elk everywhere we went. I was able to shoot my first bull ever at 12 yards. He was a mature 6x6 that scored 308". I Couldn't be any happier, we will be booking again!!
