Was suppose to be only 6 hunters was 12 plus three guides that hunted and also 3 of the main guides sons hunting! Stands were not trimmed! Stand placements were poorly! Camp ran out of propane so no heat are hot water from Saturday night till Monday! Guides bring you to stands hour before daylight so they can hunt also and bring you on two atvs one which is a smoking 2stroke! Myself and two other guys with me left three days into the hunt because was not what was advertised! Also on website tells you land butts refuges not true at Hadley camp!
Was the outfitter notified of problems? - YES
Well, I guess after seven seasons we got our first bad review of which we DISAGREE!
Two sides to every story and we were GLAD to see this group leave early. The three of them couldn't even get along with each other! One of them flew home as he wouldn't drive home with his "hunting buddies". Our reputation speaks for itself as can be determined by our other reviews and this email from 3 other hunters, who were in the same camp, same time as the group posting this review:
"Hunt was great! Shot my second biggest buck with a bow ever. I do plan on coming back to hunt with you next year. I would, however like to hunt one of the later weeks, if at all possible. I liked the farm, and the camp managers / guides (Mark, Junior, and Bill). If they were to go to another farm, I would like to follow them. Not sure if that would ever happen. Anyway, Here are some pics. XXXXX, my friend shot a nice 10 pt too. Close to his biggest buck ever."
The take away from reading this review and booking this miserable group...alcohol and hunting doesn't mix...choose your "hunting buddies" wisely!
