The hunters at camp were truly outnumbered by the quantity of shooter bucks on Jeff's properties. Jeff is meticulous when it comes to choosing stand locations in order to avoid educating the deer on the hunters' whereabouts, so you can rest assured that no matter if you hunt early season or late season the spots Jeff will put you in are uncontaminated. This was my first time hunting with an outfitter, and I sure am glad I did. I hunted opening week, October 1-5. We dealt with some unusually high temps (upper 80's) for the first four days. On the final day we had a cold front come through that pushed the temps down into the 50's. On the final afternoon I hunted over a biologic food plot on one of Jeff's multiple tracts of land. I had 10 deer feeding in the plot when this 152 & 6/8 (262 lbs.)stud walked in just 20 minutes prior to last shooting light. Stuck him at 25 yards and the rest was history. After spending five days together, all of us at Full Draw Hunts became pretty close and it was great to share this moment with them. I will be back next year and probably every year after.
