This was my second hunt(1 Turkey/1 Elk)with Chris and Screamin Bull Outfitters the accomidations were great and the amount of elk and quality is unbelievable. This a family run operation and you are treated like family. I was the only hunter in camp due to a cancelation which provided me the opportunity to have two great guides Eric and his son Ben, they are elk hunting machines. They were very sharing with their knowledge and expertise as we discussed how they hunted elk and why. Day 1 began with a early morning snack and off to the mountain top by 4:45am we found several bulls but no shots. The second morning found us scratching our heads on how quiet the morning was and then at 8:30 am the mountain erupted with bugles from all directions the herd was headed our way. At one point we had 5 or more different bulls answering Ben's sedusive cow calls. I passed up shots on smaller bulls and then Ben called a Bull into our lap at 6 yards. He was not the biggest bull we saw but I couldnt pass up the shot. I have hunted with several outfitters over the last few years and can truly say the experience I had with SBO will be hard to match. I am now be a repeat client from here on out. Chris, Eric and Ben thank you for an amazing hunt.
