This was my first hunt in Newfoundland. From the time the helicopter left the pad to the time I returned it was a well run hunt. My guide was excellent, one of the best I've had. The cabin was comfortable, warm and dry and you can't ask for more then that. Shot my moose on the second morning of the hunt after losing the first day to weather. Overall we were fogged in camp 2 out of the 6 days. My bull was shot at 33 yards. We glassed about 12 moose in 4 days of hunting ranging from a mile to 4 miles away which I think is pretty good . The weather was pretty warm, I'm sure if we would have got a cold snap I would have saw even more. We also saw an average of about 20 caribou a day. When I return for caribou I plan on using Grey River.

It was very warm a couple of the day and very foggy on 2 other days. But overall see still saw animals and managed to get a moose.
