This is the fourth trip I have made to Shiloh Ranch with my Fiancé, and the third with my bow. This was my first "solo" pig hunt where I sat by myself without my Fiancé or someone else guiding me. I hunted stand number six and saw pigs walking into the stand, one really big Red boar that I really wanted to shoot and some smaller ones. After they ran off I climbed into the quad pod and it wasn't long before I had some little pigs coming back in. As soon as the feeder went off I had pigs everywhere and two really big boars. I drew to get a shot on the biggest boar and he just wouldn't be still so after what seemed like forever this sow gave me a perfect broadside shot at 18 steps. As a women hunter I really appreciate Matt and Cheryl. They are very welcoming of ALL hunters and did not make me feel like anything but a welcomed guest and a friend. The accommodations are always clean and comfortable I hot shower and clean quarters are something I appreciate on my hunts and the Shiloh House is excellent. Thank you Matt and Cheryl for another wonderful adventure at Shiloh!
