Moose were basically unresponsive due to the warmer than usual weather. The continual NF winds didn't help, either. I saw more moose than anyone else in camp but they were quite a ways off, as in the next ridge over. We tried to stalk to no avail, if you've tried to walk a mile or so through tuckamore you know what I mean. Chris had one coming in from that other side but when he got ~250 yards he laid down and wouldn't budge...no chance to stalk. Of the seven in camp, one scored with bow, one wounded with bow, one got with MZ and one got with rifle. Four of us went up together and, in our group, I was the only one that didn't have a shot opportunity.
None to date. If you are the outfitter please email us.
Warm, windy.
