Outstanding - 1st woodland caribou hunt with Ray's Hunting & Fishing. Harvested a great bull moose on 4th day of my hunt and then this fine bull on day 6.My guide, Perry Broughton – a true professional, very knowledgeable of caribou terrain,movements,& habits. Great lodge – a renovated school house with wifi and cell service. Bess does a great job with the meals / support staff, Sam,etc all fine people. Don't let the relatively low altitude ~ 1500 ft. fool you – miles of tough hiking through bogs, dense thickets, & clear cuts, being in good shape will allow you to get further back increasing your chances of taking a trophy animal.
