Nothing about the hunt was as described. One guide (Tyler) got us lost, and had to resort to "Google Earth" to find out where we were. The same guide also fell asleep during a hunt. He also was taking pictures with a flash of the sunset, and beavers in a pond during the hunt. After being told we would see 5-6 moose a day, and cull anything under 45 inches for the first half of the hunt, we saw NO animals at all during the 8 1/2 days we were there. We left 1 1/2 days early out of frustration and a total lack of confidence in our guides. It seemed that they were totally underqualified to be guiding for moose. They seemed lost as to what to do. The majority of our time was spent on quadrunners riding from one spot to another, basically road hunting. They called it "looking for sign." The times we did find fresh sign, we basically ignored it and went to another area. There was too much wasted time spent waiting on the guides and spent in camp, even after mentioning we came to hunt, not go back to take naps or rest. The guides seemed worn out after the 5th day or so. Not once were we out for the start of legal hunting hours. Not once did we stay out all day, even after talking about it several times. We had to take time out of our hunt to gas up trucks, and buy more food for the camp. Everyday I hunted with the outfitter himself (Brian), I had to hear his views on politics, and how my views were wrong. I would never consider using this outfitter again, and would seriously advise against anyone else doing so, at least for moose. It was a waste of time and money, neither of which I wanted to waste. A complete let down, and a trip I will always regret taking.
