As others have said, Gordo gave us quite the used car salesman pitch. Several of us on trip and in camp all had same stories too. Here is my list of complaints: 1. Promised own cabin - ended up in lodge with 10 other guys 2. 1 shower/bathroom 3. Place powered by generator so had to hear diesel engine run all day (so much for tranquil) 4. Food was walmart riffic straight from freezer... 5. Oh yeah this was a hunting trip so lets talk about the bear (or lack of) I know how to bait bair, these guys were inadequate at making their baits the primary source for bear food, which means they couldnt put the bear on the bait. 6. Yes he has references, but they are his buddies, who he did manage to put on bear...noone else saw any. 7. We went in an overlap of bait and dogs...he dropped his own dogs off less than a mile from one of our sites...and we only found out the dogs ran through the site by accidently driving down the road at the wrong time. They seemed upset we happened to find this out. 8. Set on site I could see I95, with cat at 8yds (im using a freaking high power, give me some distance). 9. No cameras on baits...really I mean I use 5 just for deer.. 10. Gordon said 75% prior kill...based on stories and lodge pictures...he lied.. 11. Promised to run dogs for same price, they passed a treed bear and didnt let us know. (there were a father and son there with this same story).
