I went with my daughters boyfriend, Justin, who just turned 21. It was my second outfitters trip. My first was for Elk in Montana with my oldest son in 2000. I never saw an elk. I personally did not see a lot of deer the first 2 days but killed a real nice 150 class 8pt Oct 31st at 4pm. Justin on the other hand was sitting just 300 yds down the ridge in the same piece of woods as I was. He saw several big bucks in the 170-180 class the first 2 days and shot a big 160 class on the second day. The guide could not find the buck and we believe we saw it 2 days later limping on the front still chasing does. On Nov 1st, Justin did kill a nice 130 class 8pt. Others in the camp did score including a real nice 160 class 11 pt and another big 8pt. The food was plentiful and we were never hungry. I have booked another hunt with ITB for 2012. This time with my 18 yo son and another friend, this time at a different camp about 5 miles away. I am confident that Steve Phelps and ITB will put us on some nice bucks and the rest will be up to us. I will be looking forward to it.
