Had never been out of U.S.to hunt or Indiana for that matter.Had never seen a wild black bear, let alone hunt one. They answered all the dumb questions I had with a smile.Food was great,(very fancy for this simple guy)and always plenty. Both Ron and Darren know bears and how to hunt them.My hunt was great, shot bear on first night on stand.Bear was not the biggest in the woods(I shot the first one I had seen on stand, shoud have waited longer)but that was my fault. To be honest I enjoyed the putting out the baits, cleaning up trails, and just messing around the bush as much or maybe more than the hunt. They will keep you as busy AS YOU WANT TO BE.If you are looking to hunt bears,THEY WILL DO EVERYTHING THEY CAN to make you happy on your hunt. You must do your part also.I came in with no real bear hunting know how,but I am now 200 times more ready for my next bear hunt(2012 hopefully)due to all work that Ron and Darren did with me.If I get to go again I WILL GO BACK to see BearTrack outfitters.Thank you again for making me feel so at home in camp. Dan Andrews
Dan was part of the Stoffel group. And yes Dan had a few questions proving him to be a "newbie" to bear hunting. And the best thing was: he asked questions and listened for the answers. Dan was entertained with Darren chasing bears and "woofing" at bears that were present at bait sites when he was baiting. Darren will do that to give the guests something to laugh about at dinner. We've got a great group picture of Dan and 2 others in camp who took bears the same night, to have blown up and use in our display booth this winter. And yes, they did mention coming back again in a year or so. Great!
Was good, light rain a few days, but all days huntable.
