This hunt was supposed to be a lease on multiple private farms in IOWA during the 2nd gun season 2009. My friend and I drove 25 hrs to get there and found out that the "farmer" who's land we were supposed to hunt didn't have any land because he was not a farmer but some out of work handyman. We spent 3 days trying to salvage out hunt with no avail. We never got to hunt because there was no land to hunt. We got totally screwed. Rich agreed to refund our money. First it was by the end of January, then it was by the end of February. Still no refund. We wasted 5 days, gas money, tags, lodging and our deposit of $600 each. NEVER USE THIS GUY, HE IS A CROOK..........BEWARE THIS GUY SELLS HUNTS ON EBAY. my email is [email protected] if you would like any further info.

HI tony called me me up wanting to do a hunting trip in Iowa last fall, I have been booking hunts for 5 years and sell about 300-400fully guided hunts a year and never had any complaints. I set up hunts all over the Midwest,Canada,and Alaska for all different types of game and my whitetail gun hunts start at $2500, Tony wanted to hunt in Iowa and my deer hunts there are $3500 and tony couldn't afford that so he asked me if i had something cheaper so i TOLD him i know this guy out their that has 2 tracks of land and he will be able to get you land to hunt on, all he wanted was $1300 with no meals or lodging, a self guided hunt, so tony arrived to the property and didn't like it so he didn't want to hunt it and expected me to give him and his friends back $1200 when i only make 10% on each hunt which comes out to me making $230 and i transferred the other money to the land owner. also he didn't even give it a try for at least 1 day, i hunted that same area last year and missed a booner buck and i was hunting on 30 acres, i tried to help tony and his friend out by providing then a trespass hunt cause they couldn't afford a a fully guided hunt with a real outfitter with meals and lodging for $3500,while tony was out there he called me up very upset and told me that he didn't like the land that he was suppose to hunt on, really u have to give it a try for 3days??? so i did some research and found him a different outfitter near by for the same price that had over 1,00acers, so Tony went there and didnt like his property eathier,guess nothing can make him happy, so i did everything i can to make tony and his friend happy, i guess this is what you get for selling tress pass hunts and i will never do it again .100% of my hunts are fully guided and will always be.So for tony to call me a crook is ridiculous because i have been in business for 5years and never had any complaints and i have a score of 100% on ebay also if anyone would like references of people i sent on FULLY GUIDE hunts(which i specialize in) i can provide over 1000's of happy customers that did fully guided hunts and that were happy please feel free to call me with any questions and 914-426-9696, or email me at [email protected] ps. the reason why my clients are happy with my services is that we try out these areas first then we send the clients if we believe that the client will be successful also if we haven't been to a new area we let the client know that hes going at his own risk, Thank you Richie Botta
