I had a great experience with Dean and Moose Valley. With the exception of the weather, the people in camp made the trip a great one. Dean was waiting for me at the airport upon my arrival and drove me to the hotel. Meals were very good throughout the week. The guides were committed and worked very hard for us.

We had high winds and rain nearly every day. We hunted very hard every day despite the weather. However, I only saw 3 caribou, including 2 small stags, the entire week. Perhaps an additional 15 were spotted that week and another hunter in camp got a medium-sized 'bou. Woodland Caribou numbers are down, and I was fortunate to get a modest one. As it turns out, I most likely would have been able to take one of the Stags with my bow.
