Even though I was not successful, this hunt was more than I could have expected. LeRoy is not a gourmet cook, but the food is still good and I went there to hunt a lion and not be wined and dined. I gave an excellent for trophy care because the Nielsons went out of their way to get permission for me to take home a nice mule deer rack from a lion kill. This was an awesome hunt, and LeRoy went out his way to make sure that I had the best chance possible. We cut 15 tracks, but the conditions were pretty tough.

The conditions were really tough. There was a little snow that was melting during the day and then freezing at night so tracks was extremely difficult.
