As a first time bear hunter I was really excited and a bit nervous. I had "watched all the videos" and practiced my butt off; but was unsure of what to really expect. Ron was amazing! At the welcome meeting the first night he thoroughly explained all aspects of their camp, the daily routine, and what to expect during the hunt. He also gave many important tips on how to judge size and making a clean kill shot. As you can see from the picture I posted, everything came together perfectly. On the second night Ron put me on a great bait and I took this 7'2" beauty with my bow. It did the 20 yard dash and dropped! I was able to capture the death moan on video. Amazing! The camp was very clean, warm and professional; everything a girl loves and wants. Jeannine does a great job of preparing tasty meals. These are wonderful people that work very hard to make sure you have a memorable hunt and great time. I recommend Bear Track Outfitters to everyone!
We had lots of fun with Melissa her first time up here. She came to camp knowing her equipment and how to shoot her bow, always a plus. Her first night on stand produced no shooters but second day and a new bait she was ready to get'er done. She did not mention the white timber wolf she watched come into the bait site. The bear she took that evening turned out to be the largest bear taken by a lady that year in Manitoba. Congradulations again Molly!
