I live in MT and hunt elk every year. I thought this was a fantastic hunt. I passed on 7 6 pnt bulls ranging from 290 up to 335+ in 6 days. I took my 347 gross 6x7 on day 6 of a 10 day hunt. My one regret was not holding out for a bigger one. I would go back in a heart beat. In fact I am plannig on a moose hunt with them in 2011.

We had hot weather to start followed by some wet windy weather. We were into bugling elk in all of it. I shot mine while it was spitting snow and blowing at 30mph.
