This was my third year hunting here at Beat Track with Ron and Jeannine. I only have great things to say about my experience, from the food to the facilities to the great people to the actual hunting itself. I shot a 7'2" bear that scored well into the Pope and Young score book. Melissa also shot a 7'2" bear and my grandfather shot a monster 7'6" bear that was just shy of Boone and Crocket. I look forward to this week all year and I can't wait to go back next year!
Josh is the camp comedian evey year. He'll sit there and listen then let you have it when you aren't looking with a crack that will have us in stitches. I remember the night he shot that bruzzer and was boucing around camp all wound up that he was finally a member of the 7' club. Then I roll in with 2 bears bagged by his family memebers, all bigger than his! I know he would have loved to have bragging rights for at least one day, but was more than gracious to share it at least with family. The world is a lot richer place with young men like this one. I hope to be his buddy for a long time.
