Wow, where to begin. It was a great week, and being my first big game hunt, the experience far surpassed any preconceived expectations. I saw ten bears in two days and punched my tag on number ten. Bear creek was the bait; I took a nice boar which squared 6'10", and will make the Pope and Young book with a couple inches to spare!! Jeanine is an awesome cook, and you will be hard pressed to find table fare any better. Ron really knows his stuff, and in a no-nonsense style he will do anything he can to ensure your success and make the trip one never to be forgotten. If/when I go after another bear, Bear Track Outfitters will be getting the call. Thanks Ron and Jeanine for outstanding experience.
Tom was a great guy to have in camp. Always up for whatever I had planned for him and his partner every day. He was always amazed at what Jeannine was serving them for each meal and told Jeannine so. Tom practiced shooting every day while in camp and shot a great bear with a perfect shot when the time came after patiently waiting for the right bear. Having guests like Tom, make the long weeks guiding a pleasant experience for me too.
