Just wanted to update this habitat project on our home property. This Eastern Gamma grass was planted 5 years ago. Because of 2 years of drought, until this year I had about 6 clumps of this stuff. This year though, I guess after proper moisture and stratification, the north end of the NG area (only portion planted in EG.) this year just took off. All of the plants have also seeded out. It is really something to look at. Both bluebird boxes have nesting couples in them so it looks like nature likes it!
