I know some of you enjoyed my previous thread in regards to a 7.5 year old buck that i had several years of history with prior to harvesting so i figure i would do another thread for buck #2.
Looking through trailcam pics i did have some limited history with this buck last year but i felt pretty confident that he was a definite mature deer given his body structure. I'll post a few pics for you guys to evaluate and guess his age/score (gross) and then post up the results in the next 48 hours.
This is a 700 acre private hunting area in central illinois that has been under QDM for several years so age structure is crucial for our harvest goals.

Fun fact, no daylight pictures of this buck in 2018 yet i saw him several times in the first two weeks of november (in the timber).

Easy now! I always check out the age/score thread but they are always deer on the hoof and rarely have a definitive answer. I figure there are others out there who enjoy the guessing game but also enjoy actual results, especially age. I will say i'm very fortunate to have land and hunting rights and a day doesn't go by that i'm not thankful for what i have.

Illinois Residents are lucky indeed being able to shoot two bucks in a season. Love seeing a late season big boy "at rest" in the turnips! With good management after Christmas hunting can be fantastic! Enjoy! C

RESULTS BELOW (SPOILERS)
@Charlie Rehor: although the pics make it look like a late season buck this buck was actually taken a few days prior to thanksgiving during our first heavy snow of the year but i do agree that late season hunts can be a blast with the right setup, food source, and weather.
This buck scored 158" gross Typical as a 5x5 and has a net score of 152 2/8". Cementum aging of this buck aged him at 6.5 years old.
