Wondering when is good time to spray timothy grass? We planted trees in old timothy pasture and need to spray the grass to let the trees establish. Since they are a cool season grass, is early-September a good time to spray? I would think the grass is in a dormant stage at this time. The property is located in NW Minnesota.
