I just got this buck last week and plan on getting him officially scored after the 60 day drying period. I guess he's about 140+ but would like to know everyone's opinion. Not a monster buck but he's huge for Maryland where I live and it's my biggest buck. Thanks!

It takes a giant 8pt to make 140". I think I see about 130-132". But very hard to say from a picture with no reference. Nice buck! I'd love to have one just like him.

Thanks guys, I'm so happy with this buck, been bow hunting every day (except Sundays) since the season started Sept 5th. Got a couple does and a smaller 8 pt earlier this season but I never thought I would get a deer like this. He's not very wide, right at 17" but very thick and his points on either side are 9" and 10" long. I think he's 4 1/2 but I haven't pulled the jaw yet to tell for sure

Definitely nice buck for our part of the country. Congrats. Pretty similar to buck in VA a couple weeks back but yours has a little more mass. If that 17" is inside spread like mine was I'm going to be right in there where some of the other guys are, but will say 137" gross.

I measured according to Pope and Young and he's only about 126" after deductions if I did it right. They don't have you measure thickness of the points so a buck with thick, long tines would score the same as a buck with the same length, thin tines. Oh well, either way I couldn't be happier with this buck.
