Would really need to have a 3-day minimum onsite visit in November during a quarter moon before I would be in a position to discuss fully. Live in Brandon.

Nice place.

I can ride in the back of your truck. Won't take up much room. Rather stay five days. Hitchhike back home, unless I'm overloaded with meat.

Ever think about creating a pee, wheat, clover blend?

Next year on one of your perennial plots, mix up a 30 wheat, 30 pea, 40 clover blend in the spring. You'll get the wheat and peas in a hurry the first growing season. Next spring you'll have a beautiful clover carpet in the spring at green up. More bang for your buck. Plus, the wheat and pea mix of the first spring will give the deer good nutrition and forage spring through late fall-early winter, then protein rich clover right at green up. Keep it mowed and sprayed you'll have a great clover plot for the next 3-5 years.

Nothing attracts and holds deer better than Wheat. Nothing. God Bless

Pat,

I used Bean Plates for the chufa

Planted sunflowers with corn plates

chufa has germinated, but now quite out of the ground yet.

I love clover, and have a couple of established plots.

With super hot dry summers Here in MS, wheat usually only does well when planted in fall, and grown through the winter.
