Great article. At our places in Alabama we have been planting wheat oats and rye for years and have recently been trying some clover. Plant to experiment a little more this year.

On the northern list, I might bump Red Clover, birdsfoot trefoil, and sweet clover ... to add soybeans, corn, and sugarbeets. JMHO

+1 Saggittarius. For the purposes of hunting and killing deer over a food plot - which is why I plant them anyways - I would agree.
