i almost shot this buck last season because he looked so lopsided. Now i am so glad i decided to give him another chance

i cant wait to see these bucks next year. That is assuming they survive this coming season. We have had a horrible drought this year. Hopefully next year has some better conditions.

Stick - Try to get the deer in similar poses from year to year so you can actually tell they are the same deer. I cut/pasted one of this guys' pics from 2009 into a 2010 pic for example.

I don't believe the first two deer are the same.
1) The second pic shows a second white throat patch, the first pic doesn't. 2) the ear shape doesn't look quite the same. 3) Most importanly, the brisket coloration is entirely different between the two.

ok here is a thread i posted last year but here is another bucks progresion from 2011 to 2012. he probably will grow a little more this year im thinking but probably not much. he usualy sheds his velvet around 9-16

Looks like the last deer scores better last year than he does this year. Maybe you ought to shoot him before he turns into a forkie again. LOl

The first picture of the first buck is late November, the second is early August, that could explain the coat color.
